Arizona Governor-elect Katie Hobbs asks judge to dismiss Kari Lake's election lawsuit

In a 19-page motion, Governor-elect Hobbs, who defeated Republican Party gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake in the November election, says the judge in the case should not indulge lake a minute longer than it takes to dismiss her lawsuit. Lake has asked a judge to either appoint her as Governor, or hold a new statewide election. Hobbs and her lawyers, meanwhile, said the suit points to no evidence of Election Day fraud, and fails to point out any actual misconduct.

Abe Hamadeh, RNC file lawsuit against Arizona's election

Abe Hamadeh, the GOP candidate to become Arizona's Attorney General, and the Republican National Committee have filed a lawsuit against the 2022 election. Hamadeh's race to become the next AG has come down to a recount after his opponent, Democrat Kris Mayes, earned just over 500 more votes.

The county was facing a lawsuit from Arizona's Secretary of State for refusing to certify election results.

Kari Lake, who lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs in the gubernatorial election by some 17,000 votes, has refused to concede the race due to certain voting problems in Maricopa County. She filed the lawsuit to seek the identity of voters who had trouble casting a ballot, as well as seeking information on uncounted ballots that were accidentally mixed.
