Woman hospitalized following pedestrian crash involving train in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Phoenix Police say a woman has been taken to the hospital following a pedestrian incident involving a train.

Per a statement, officers were sent to the area of 35th Avenue and Grand at around 10:30 a.m., and when they arrived, they found the victim with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

"Officers are still on scene with slight restrictions in the area that should not affect traffic," read a portion of the statement.
