Phoenix FD: 4 homes evacuated after 2 inch gas line was fractured

PHOENIX - Four homes have been evacuated, and multiple people are displaced due to a broken natural gas line near 54th Street and Dynamite Road on Thursday.

According to Phoenix firefighters, a construction crew was conducting scheduled road work when they fractured the line.

Eight people were evacuated from the homes and firefighters are assisting the residents with shelter and water.
