New security measures in place at Hacienda Healthcare, as sexual assault investigation continues
PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- New security measures are being taken at Hacienda Healthcare, after the birth of a child to a female patient in vegetative state.
The birth took place on December 29, and case is currently being investigated by Phoenix Police as a sexual assault, with DNA samples being obtained. The woman has been identified by officials with the San Carlos Apache tribe as a 29-year-old enrolled member of the native tribe.
FOX 10 has learned from a patient's mother that visitors are now required to sign in and out, and to wear visitor badges, something that was not done in the past.
