PHOENIX - Police say a suspect has been arrested in connection to a deadly stabbing at a west Valley convenience store.
According to police, officers responded to a 7-Eleven near 75th Avenue and Camelback Road just after 2 a.m. on Oct. 26 and found a man who had been stabbed. The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The victim has been identified by police as 56-year-old Jose Martinez Zuaznavas.

Deadly stabbing at west Phoenix 7-Eleven
A man is dead following a stabbing at a 7-Eleven near 75th Avenue and Camelback Road. FOX 10s Irene Snyder reports.
Investigators say 38-year-old Sheldon Shield was identified as a possible suspect in the stabbing.
"Ultimately probable cause was established identifying Shield as the man who stabbed the victim," police said.
Shield was arrested and booked into jail. He is accused of murder.
No further details were released.
