Father & girl severely burned at a home in North Phoenix

PHOENIX - An 8-year-old and a father were severely burned at a home near Deer Valley and Cave Creek Road in North Phoenix.

Phoenix Fire Department responded to the home where the child and adult suffered sever burns.

The 8-year-old suffered burns to her torso and lower extremities. The father has suffered burns to his wrists and legs.

Phoenix Fire is unsure what caused the injuries.

Both patients have been transported to County Hospital Burn Center for treatment.
