Swimmer doesn't resurface at Tempe Town Lake

The search resumed Tuesday morning, and the body was found.

The victim was identified as 47-year-old Michael Reyes.

"This is a non-swimming lake and if you do have a paddle board or a kayak, it is supposed to be permitted," said Tony Butch of the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department. "So, as the signs are posted, this is not for recreational swimming, and we encourage everyone to not get into the water."
