Comment period ending for Arizona's transportation plan
PHOENIX (AP) - The public-comment period for the Arizona Department of Transportation's five-year construction plan is drawing to a close.
The deadline for submitting public comments is at the close of business Tuesday.
The plan details proposed projects and improvements to the state's highway system and designates funding for the proposals.
Members of the State Transportation Board are expected to vote on the plan at its June 19 meeting in Pinetop-Lakeside.
