3 missing SC teens found safe, 'person of interest' in custody
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office confirmed Wednesday morning that three teenagers who were reported missing this week have been found safe.
The three runaway 15-year-olds were located after their vehicle broke down in York County, South Carolina, deputies said.
William Arthur Varndaore, 27, the man named as 'a person of interest' in the case, was arrested and charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The two teen girls and teen boy reportedly ran away from the area over the weekend.
According to KCSO, David Will Stogner, 15, was last seen Sunday getting into Varndaore's car. Natalia Karen Alexis Deese, 15, and Kayla Gail Woods, 15, were last seen Sunday at the Kershaw County home of one of the teens.
On Tuesday, KCSO said they believed all three runaways were with Varnadore, possibly headed to the Myrtle Beach area. Anyone with further information is asked to call Inv. David Miller at 803-425-1512.
