Three people have been indicted in connection to a teen violence incident in Gilbert, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced.

In a statement posted on its website, officials with the office identified the three people indicted as 19-year-old Gage Garrison, 18-year-old Kyler Matthew Renner, and 17-year-old Jack Jay Woods.

"The three defendants are accused of criminal activity at a parking garage near Gilbert and Elliot Roads on December 3, 2022," read a portion of the statement.

Prosecutors say Garrison and Renner are accused of a count of aggravated assault. Woods, meanwhile, is accused of two counts of aggravated assault.

"The indictments announced for the defendants above are independent of the submittals received for the death of 16-year-old Preston Lord," MCAO said.
