Phoenix police: Man dies after being shot over cellphone

PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- Phoenix say a man has died at the hospital after he was shot while chasing after a suspect who took his cellphone. According to Sgt. Tommy Thompson, the shooting happened outside of a McDonald's on 19th Avenue and Baseline Road when 34-year-old Eric Hernandez was approached by the suspect who asked him if he could borrow his cellphone.
