Homeowner shot in face during north Phoenix armed robbery

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Police say a homeowner was shot in the face during an armed robbery at a north Phoenix apartment on Wednesday. According to Phoenix police, the homeowner was shot in the face after the suspect pistol-whipped him during the armed robbery at an apartment near Bell Road and Central Avenue.
