Legislator pleads guilty to misdemeanor in food stamp case

PHOENIX (AP) — State Rep. Cecilia Velasquez faces sentencing Dec. 1 in Maricopa County Superior Court after pleading guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful use of food stamps.
