The Onion buys Alex Jones' Infowars

Officials with the satirical news site say the purchase of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' media platform was supported by families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims. The families sued Jones for defamation after he called the school massacre a hoax. The platform was sold at a bankruptcy auction, but the sale price is not known.
