Man impersonating T-Mobile employee climbs tower

A man impersonating a T-Mobile employee climbed a cell phone tower in Miami and refused to come down, police said. Real employees showed up early in the morning and realized power had been shut off and saw the man in the tower. The man spent hours up on the tower ignoring negotiators and ripped apart cables and other components. After about six hours, the man came down, shook hands with first responders, thanked them and was arrested. Police say the man caused about $500,000 worth of damage.
