Firefighter hospitalized after north Phoenix house fire

Phoenix Fire says crews battled the fire at a home near Cave Creek Road and Grovers Avenue. Everyone inside the home safely evacuated before firefighters got to the scene, however, a dog did not survive. A firefighter was also taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation but is expected to be OK. Two people will be displaced as a result of the fire.
