Alex Murdaugh: Ex-attorney accused in murders takes the stand

Ex-attorney Alex Murdaugh, who is accused of killing his wife and his son in 2021, took the stand in his own defense on Feb. 23. While defense attorneys argue Murdaugh is a caring father who is wrongly accused after a mishandled investigation, prosecutors say he killed the two as a distraction from financial misconduct allegations.
