Wife, family of MCSO Lt. Cad Brackman left heartbroken

Melissa Ponder Brackman posted on her personal blog, in part, "My heart is broken in a million pieces. To do this once is tragic, but to do this again is unimaginable." She lost her husband, Lt. Chad Brackman, on Nov. 10 after a SUV crashed into him while working off-duty conducting traffic control.
