Red-tailed hawks released into the wild after rehab

Four rescued red-tailed hawks are calling nature their home once again. They were released back into the wild after their stay at Liberty Wildlife. FOX 10's Danielle Miller was there and she has the story.

The City of Phoenix has updated its rules on animal cruelty, in order to make sure pets are not being left outside during times of extreme heat.

Meet Phoenix Zoo's newest baby animals

The Phoenix Zoo is showing off its newest additions, baby Ringtails, Austin and Sedona. They're just over three months old and are native to the desert southwest. Ringtails can be challenging to breed as these babies are part of the zoo's "species survival plan." Ringtails are also Arizona's official animal. They also have baby Toucans that are growing each day.

Nonprofit covers medical bills for blind Arizona dog

Non-profit dog shelters sometimes have a hard time keeping up with mounting medical bills. When the bill finally was too high for one dog, an Arizona shelter asked for help and got it in a big way.
