Autopsy released for teen shot by Avondale PD

An autopsy report has been released for 17-year-old Amarion Hope, who was shot by an Avondale officer near Dysart and Buckeye Roads. Police say Hope was shoplifting and tried to choke the officer and grab their gun. According to the autopsy, Hope was shot several times and the bullet that killed him was fired through his back. Hope's family filed a lawsuit, saying he was unarmed and body camera video shows he was shot while running away. Police say an investigation showed the shooting was justified and the officer was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Police held a news conference on March 5 to provide more information on an officer-involved shooting near McClintock Drive and Chandler Boulevard that left a suspect and another man hurt.

Armed bank robbery suspect shot by Kingman PD

Kingman Police say the suspect was shot after robbing a bank and pulling out a gun at officers. The suspect suffered critical injuries. Police are searching for a second suspect in connection to the robbery.

Pima County deputies shoot, kill man with sword

The shooting happened on Saturday night near Interstate 10 and Irvington Road. The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the suspect was waving a sword outside a hotel. When the deputies got close to the man, he allegedly waved the sword at them, prompting the shooting. The suspect was not identified. No deputies were hurt. Tucson Police will investigate the shooting.

Armed man shot, killed by Phoenix officers: PD

A man who police say attempted to carjack several vehicles was shot and killed after he allegedly pulled a gun on officers near 62nd Avenue and McDowell Road late Monday night. FOX 10's Irene Snyder reports.

3 D.C. officers shot while executing arrest warrant

According to police. officers arrived at a home to serve an arrest warrant for cruelty to animals on Feb. 14. Police attempted to gain entry and the suspect fired gunshots. Three officers were struck, all with non-life-threatening injuries to the foot or hand. A fourth officer was also injured but was not shot.
