High chairs recalled over suffocation risk

"HEAO 4-in1 high chairs pose a suffocation risk because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees in violation of the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act," the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission wrote in a news release. "In addition, the high chairs pose finger laceration and entrapment hazards as they failed to meet mandatory requirements under the high chair standard."

Whole Foods recalls fish fillets

Applesauce pouch contamination may be intentional

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating whether recalled applesauce pouches with high levels of lead, which have sickened at least 65 children, were intentionally contaminated, according to agency officials.

Granola bars, cereals recalled over salmonella

Quaker Oats is recalling more than 40 products over salmonella risks. Chewy granola bar variety packs, Chewy Dipps bars and protein and puffed granola cereals are included in the recall.
