Chuck Norris hosting 5K where runners dress up like him

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (FOX 26) - Chuck Norris doesn't run a 5K, Chuck Norris look-alikes run the 5K for him!

That's right, Chuck Norris is hosting a 5K where participants will dress like him.

He's hoping to break the World Record for the number of people dressed like him in the same place at the same time.

The family-friendly event is happening May 4th at 9 a.m. in College Station, Texas.

Race registrations include a Chuck style t-shirt, a fake beard, and a belt buckle, but if you create your own costume you could win the contest following the race.

Not only will you be helping break a record, but you can meet Chuck Norris himself!

He'll give words of encouragement before the start of the race and he'll be at the finish line giving out high fives.

If that's not enough, you can have breakfast with him if you get the VIP package.

All proceeds from the race will be donated to Kickstart Kids, an organization founded by Norris to help build students' character development through martial arts and the Mercy Project, a nonprofit working to end child slavery in Ghana.

Early registration starts at $30 for adults and $25 for kids.
