Woman arrested for burglarizing homes
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A valley woman has been arrested on burglary charges, and police say it was her Facebook page that helped investigators link her to the crime.
Police say Margarita Buelna broke into a home near 42nd St and Shea, entering through an unlocked door.
Authorities say she stole jewelry, clothes, and purses. According to court paperwork, she "went through the victim's bedroom closet and picked out some clothes and changed clothes leaving her own clothing at the scene."
Police say along with the clothing Buelna left a debit card at the scene. Investigators were able to use the card and shirt to track her down on Facebook where a photo of her wearing a shirt found at the scene helped them catch the suspect.
Buelna was arrested and booked into jail on second degree burglary charges.
