Winter storm drops snow across much of northern Arizona
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - A winter storm is dumping snow across much of northern Arizona, including Flagstaff where 6 inches had fallen by Tuesday morning.
Forecasters warned of difficult driving conditions across the region due to snow-covered roads and very poor visibility.
Flagstaff received seven inches of snow. Flagstaff public schools were closed Monday, but Northern Arizona University operated normally.
In Arizona Snowbowl, 26 inches of snow had fallen by Tuesday morning.
Elsewhere, 6 inch of snow had fallen in Page, 5 inches at Fredonia and 7 inches at Kayenta.
