Who is Nessy on ‘The Masked Singer?’ Famous singer revealed, sent home

It was a "Soundtrack of My Life" night on Wednesday’s new episode of "The Masked Singer," with the top 5 contestants battling it out for a coveted spot in the semi-finals.

The remaining contestants – Coral, Nessy, Boogie Woogie, Pearl and Mad Scientist Monster – performed songs with a special meaning to them, including "Sk8er Boi," "Million Reasons," "Golden Hour," "Your Love" and "The Scientist."

But despite his "dino-mite" performance, Nessy was chosen to be revealed and sent home.

Who is Nessy?

Underneath the dinosaur costume was singer and songwriter Edwin McCain, known for hit songs including, "I’ll Be" and "I Could Not Ask for More."

What they're saying:

The 55-year-old told the audience that some of his children still did not know he was participating in the show.

"I can’t wait for them to be like, ‘What?,’" he said.
