Thick plume of smoke seen on Interstate 10 caused traffic delays
PHOENIX - A massive plume of black smoke caused delays on eastbound Interstate 10 near 43rd Avenue on Tuesday.
The flames and smoke could be seen emitting from a vehicle around 3:20 p.m. on July 16 on the shoulder. At least the two right lanes were blocked as the vehicle burned.
The Arizona Department of Transportation sent a statement out on X about the incident.
Arizona DPS says no injuries were reported. The lanes have since been cleared.
