ATLANTA - A number of Georgia teachers are using a hunger strike to call for continued education funding.
And said that for the first time in 16 years, Georgia schools are fully funded.
They are asking the gubernatorial and legislative candidates to make a pledge to continue that funding for the next four years.
Among the teachers participating in the hunger strike is Alex Robson.
He was the 2017 Middle School Teacher of the Year in Gwinnett County.
