Two weeks ago, Six Flags Over Georgia announced exclusively to Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken that the park will retire Georgia Cyclone at the end of July.
Georgia Cyclone opened 27 years ago, with a design based on the legendary coaster of the same name at Coney Island.
Georgia Cyclone is a wooden coaster with nearly 3,000 feet of track, reaching top speeds of around 50 miles per hour.
