Prescott man arrested for trespassing in child's playhouse

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A Prescott man has been found in a child's playhouse and arrested for trespassing.

Prescott police say they were called out to a home Monday morning.

Neighbors reported seeing a man jump over a fence and enter a child's backyard playhouse.

Officers say they found 31-year-old Philip Eastlack still inside.

He told police he had an argument with his girlfriend and she kicked him out of her house Sunday night.

Eastlack says slept in some bushes, but it was getting cold so he found shelter in the playhouse.

Police say the locked door to the playhouse was kicked in and damaged.

Eastlack has been booked into the Yavapai County Jail for suspicion of trespassing, criminal damage and an unrelated warrant.

It was unclear Tuesday if he has a lawyer yet.
