Police looking for person of interest in deadly hotel shooting

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are looking for a man allegedly involved in a deadly hotel shooting over the weekend.

Phoenix police say the man is a person of interest in the shooting, which happened outside of the Premiere Inn near I-17 and Peoria on Sunday. An officer near the hotel heard gunshots and found 41-year-old Rodney Puckett lying in the parking lot.

Puckett was transported to a local hospital where he died.
