Police: Dad accidentally left baby in hot car and boarded train to work

A Maryland father accidentally left his 6-month-old son in his car when he boarded a train to work, authorities say.

The man called his in-laws when he realized that he had accidentally left the child in his car, which was parked at Forest Glen Metro Station in Silver Spring.

The child's grandmother called 911, telling the dispatcher, "We're on our way, our son-in-law accidentally left the baby in the back of the car."
