Police: 2 cars crash, careen into Glendale home

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) -- Police officials say a medical issue may have caused the accident where two cars careened into a home in Glendale.

According to police, the cars crashed on the street, and then careened into the home. No one was inside at the time.

"I heard this big explosion, and my wife and I ran outside ans we saw these two cars that were driven right into the house," said Patrick Neely, who lives in the area.

"I parked my car, I ran over, I saw there were people in the cars, and I heard dogs barking, and we didn't know if anybody was in the house," said Jackie Ries, who was driving by.

The homeowner had just stepped out to run errands at the time.
