Pedestrian hit by car near I-17, Dunlap in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Police are investigating a serious collision after they say a pedestrian was hit by a car in Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the collision happened on the Interstate 17 overpass at Dunlap Tuesday morning.

Due to the crash, the northbound and southbound off-ramps are closed.

The pedestrian is in critical condition and the driver of the car stayed at the scene following the collision.
