Multi-vehicle crash shuts down Tempe intersection
TEMPE, Ariz. - Tempe Police are investigating a crash that happened near 23rd Street and Priest Drive on Friday morning.
We're hearing there were two vehicles involved and police do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision, though it's not clear what caused the accident.
Four adults and two children were transported to an area hospital. Authorities say the children are in serious condition.
The northbound lanes on Priest Drive will continue to be closed during the investigation. One southbound lane will be open, according to police.
