Man, woman arrested in deadly north Phoenix shooting
PHOENIX - Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in north Phoenix.
The incident happened in a neighborhood just south of 27th Avenue and Northern at around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 1.
Detectives found the body of a man who had been shot. He was identified as 39-year-old Ricardo Villalobos.
Witnesses reportedly told police they saw a man and woman running from the crime scene, and police were able to apprehend both of them during the investigation. The man, 41-year-old Eric Norwood, was arrested and booked into jail. He is accused of first-degree murder.
On Oct. 5, police also announced the arrest of a second suspect, 30-year-old Brenda Beacham. She is accused of murder.
The case is ongoing.
