Man found dead in a Mesa alleyway, homicide investigation underway

MESA, Ariz. - A man was found dead in an alleyway with a gunshot wound in Mesa, the police department said on Aug. 8.

Investigators say it happened near Date and Main Street. An unidentified man in his 30s was found shot and was declared dead at the scene.
