MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ/AP) - The eastbound Loop 202 freeway in Mesa has reopened following a deadly rollover crash involving an SUV and car.

Trooper Kameron Lee of the state Department of Public Safety says the SUV rolled and that its male driver was fatally injured.

Lee says the woman driving the car has non-life threatening injuries and that detectives are investigating whether she was impaired.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the freeway has reopened from Val Vista to Greenfield.
