Health officials warn residents of potential exposure to Measles in Northern Arizona

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- Officials with the Arizona Department of Health Services are asking people to check their immunization status immediately and be aware of symptoms of Measles, after reports of potential exposures in various Northern Arizona locations.

In a statement released Friday afternoon, officials say an out-of-state visitor with measles traveled to Northern Arizona, and was potentially contagious from August 6 to August 8. The person visited the following sites:

Health officials say there are currently no cases of Measles in Arizona. The visitor may have, however, exposed the public to the illness.
