GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Glendale Police officials said Friday night an ambulance was involved in a crash.
According to a statement released by Sgt. John Roth, the accident happened in the area of 75th Avenue and Ocotillo. The ambulance was transporting a patient at the time, but was not operating as an emergency vehicle. Impairment is being investigated as a cause of the crash, and the driver of the car that hit police say hit the ambulance has been taken to the Glendale City Jail for a DUI investigation.
No one was hurt, according to police.
