Double house fire in Phoenix leaves displaces residents
The fire, which happened near 35th Avenue and Bell Road, initially affected only one house, but flames jumped and burned another home, according to officials. FOX 10's Bailey Miller reports.
PHOENIX - Firefighters say no one was injured after a fire that affected two homes broke out on April 13 in north Phoenix.
Crews from the Phoenix and Glendale Fire Departments responded to the fire near 35th Avenue and Bell Road.
"I was really scared," said Dottie Parker, who lives in the area. "There was a huge bang, and I was confused what it was, and I opened my window and both the houses were on fire."
Officials say the fire initially affected one home, but the flames were strong enough to jump to a neighboring home.
"The east house, right now, from what neighbors are saying, it is being renovated, and the west house has two displaced occupants," said Capt. Todd Keller with the Phoenix Fire Department.

Firefighters extinguish double house fire in north Phoenix, no injuries reported
No injuries were reported, but both homes were left damaged. Phoenix Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
