TEMPE, Ariz. - A FedEx crash slammed into a home in Tempe Monday afternoon.
The delivery truck driver collided with another car, knocking the driver out of the truck, and the van continued into a home near College Avenue and McKellips Road, Tempe authorities said.
A few other cars were also hit by the truck, police say.
Three people were evaluated by first responders and one of them was taken to the hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
What caused the driver to crash into the home hasn't been determined.
SkyFOX flew over the scene of the crash and saw packages being taken from the damaged truck and put into another FedEx truck.
A witness named Liz Lechliter explained what she saw.
"What happened is, girl clipped him, she didn’t look before she pulled out into the street in a yellow Kia. And she clipped him. He tried to maneuver to avoid her and because the truck is heavy, it went one way, and when he tried to recorrect it he got thrown out onto the asphalt here," she said.
Wanda Lee Majeski explains what she heard when the crash happened.

"We were in there on the couch talking to each other and all of a sudden we hear this real loud boom and then a crash. My whole house rattled. We both jumped out of the chairs and went outside and that’s what we saw," Majeski said. "Felt like an earthquake. I couldn't believe it. I thought my windows were going to cave in."
The two women say they rushed across the street to help the FedEx employee and call 911.
"He called his supervisor immediately and said, "I've been in an accident.' He said, 'I got clipped by a Kia. I tried to avoid her, but I couldn't.' He said, 'I'm laying down on the ground,' and he asked for help," Lechliter said.
A man washing his car in the driveway happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"The one guy that was washing the car jumped back, got scraped a little bit, and bruised a little bit, but it hit the truck, and it hit the car in the driveway, and then it embedded itself in the lawn, right before it hit the roof," Lechliter said.
