PHOENIX - Federal authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a correctional facility in north Phoenix.
Officials say that Rosann Tercero, 36, was discovered missing at midnight on Oct. 26 from a satellite camp adjacent to the Federal Correctional Institution near Interstate 17 in Anthem.
She had recently been sentenced to 117 months in prison for heroin and methamphetamine distribution charges.
Tercero was described as a 5'3", 150-pound Hispanic woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
Federal authorities believe Tercero may try to leave Arizona and possibly is headed to New Mexico.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the United States Marshals Service at 602-382-8768.
