PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- Hours after the state regulators demand Hacienda HealthCare make some major changes, the parents of the woman who was sexually assaulted and impregnated while in a vegetative state are speaking out.
The parents of patient, identified as a 29-year-old enrolled member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, have remained quiet in all of this, but has released some statements through their attorney.
In the latest statement released, the parents said, through their attorney:
The statement came, just hours after state leaders demanded a third party manager to oversee daily operations. The new manager will have 90 days to reassess each patients care plan, and if a new manager is not hired by January 23, Hacienda faces the possibility of losing its state contract.
