A valley pilot is speaking out about a new and very dangerous situation that pilots around the country are dealing with. Laser lights are being flashed directly into the cockpits of their planes.
This is happening to commercial flights with hundreds of people on board. It can temporarily blind the pilot, and even cause permanent eye damage.
On Wednesday night, dozens of flights, including one in Phoenix were flashed. Now the question is whether the incidents are connected.
FOX 10's Nicole Garcia spoke with a local corporate pilot and flight instructor who spoke out about the incidents.
