PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has appointed a new president of the Arizona-Mexico Commission's board of directors.
David Farca is president of a Scottsdale-based architecture and planning studio that operates in six cities in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
Ducey said in a news release that Farca's strong community ties throughout Arizona and Mexico will be a valuable asset to the commission. Farca is a native of Mexico City.
The Arizona-Mexico Commission advocates for cross-border trade. Mexico is the state's largest trading partner.
