Wrong-way driver arrested after incident on Loop 303
Lair Dupree Secret faces assault, DUI and criminal damage charges after driving the wrong way down the Loop 303 on Jan. 6.
PEORIA, Ariz. - No one was injured after authorities say a wrong-way driver was stopped on the Loop 303 in Peoria on Jan. 6.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers stopped the vehicle and took the driver into custody near the Loop 303 and Lake Pleasant Parkway.
Officials say two DPS cruisers were damaged trying to stop him, but no one was hurt.
The driver, Lair Dupree Secret, faces assault, DUI and criminal damage charges. His bond has been set at $15,000.

DPS: Wrong-way driver stopped on Loop 303 in Peoria
Southbound Loop 303 has been reopened at Lake Pleasant after closing for several hours on Wednesday due to the incident.
