Deadly hotel shooting in Fountain Hills
FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. - Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Fountain Hills.
MCSO deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a hotel just after midnight early Saturday.
Deputies say they have the shooter in custody and they aren't looking for anyone else. The hotel manager tells Fox 10 it all started with a "staycation."
Hotel manager Gary Lvov, general manager at Centerstone Plaza hotel, says the man checked in on Friday with his young daughter for a two-night stay. At around midnight Lvov says he received a call about an emergency at the hotel, and when he arrived, he saw two MCSO deputies at the scene.
Deputies say an argument broke out before the shooting occurred. They are describing the incident as a domestic situation. Deputies are not searching for any suspects at this time. There's no word on whether anyone may face charges.
