What we know:
Phoenix Police say they are investigating a shooting that happened between two men at about 8 a.m. on the freeway near the Loop 202 interchange. The two men were involved in an altercation when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other man.
The man who was shot then crashed his car into a median.
The alleged shooter pulled into a parking lot near 75th Avenue and McDowell Road and called police. Sgt. Brian Bower says he is cooperating with investigators.
