CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - UPDATE: Police identify the suspect as Nathan Daniel Griffis, who died at the hospital from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The bakery that Griffis hid in during the hours long stand-off was closed Saturday.

The search for a suspect who may be responsible for setting off a fire at a motel has come to an end, according to Chandler Police.
Chandler police believe the suspect is armed and may be responsible for setting the fire at the Super 8 Motel near 54th Street and Chandler Boulevard. No one was injured during the fire.
According to a statement released Friday afternoon, officers made entry to the location where the suspect was believed to be hiding, and found him unresponsive with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suspect was taken to a hospital, and his condition is not known at this time, according to officials.
Chandler Boulevard eastbound at Interstate 10 is closed due to the incident. Please avoid the area.
