Chandler bank robbery suspect sought by police

CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say a man is on the run after robbing a Bank of America in Chandler on Tuesday.

According to Sgt. Daniel Mejia with Chandler police, the suspect entered the Bank of America located near the Loop 101 and Chandler Boulevard at 1:44 p.m., handed a note to the bank teller and was given an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then left the bank and was last seen leaving westbound.

No weapons were used during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a White man in his early-40s, 5'10' to 6' tall and has a medium build. Police say he is "tan" and "scruffy" and was wearing an orange and black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a light blue long-sleeved button up shirt with a red shirt underneath.
